MADARAKA DAY – SPECIAL CELEBRATION
We celebrate June 1st as Madaraka Day as a country. The importance of the day and the struggle our independence fighters had to win must be understood by the next generation. On May 30, 2025, during school hours.Oshwal Academy Nairobi Nursery has planned a special assembly for all of our pupils to commemorate the day. To foster a sense of patriotism among the pupils, the assembly will include patriotic music and an internal rally with slogan recitation. It piques their interest in the nation, fosters creativity, and improves their aesthetic sense.One of the most cherished human experiences, it greatly enhances a child’s education by providing them with an opportunity to express themselves and maintain their sense of gratitude for their nation. Please make sure your child’s attire reflects the colours of the Kenyan National Flag. This assembly is just for our students.

SPELLING BEE & G.K. QUIZ
On Wednesday, May 21st, 2025, Oshwal Academy Nairobi Nursery will host its Spelling Bee Competition and General Knowledge Quiz, which will give students the opportunity to learn spelling in a variety of ways, increase their vocabulary, uncover ideas, enhance their English language skills, and increase their awareness of general knowledge. Additionally, the school invites students from nearby schools to study, compete, and develop together. Your interest in language will be stimulated by this contest. Beyond their spelling talents, children’s literacy, cognitive, and life skills gained from study and competition will benefit them in all facets of their lives and communication. It might be difficult to compete in a spelling bee. It will, however, be a lot of fun and offer many unanticipated benefits for various aspects of life.
