We warmly invite all families wishing to apply for a place at Oshwal Academy Nairobi – Nursery to apply at any time throughout the year. All applications are given equal consideration.

FAQ's

Which curriculum does the school offer?

We offer the International British National Curriculum in cross-reference with the International Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.

What is the ratio for the students and the teachers per class?

1 teacher for 08 learners in Playgroup

1 teacher for 12/13 learners in Preschool, Kindergarten and Reception classes

In IED each learner is under the care of 1 teacher.

What is your admission age limit?

We admit children from 1.5-years-old to 5.5-years-old

What are your year groups and how many streams do you have per year group?

Playgroup – 3 streams

Preschool – 5 streams

KG Classes – 5 streams

Reception- 6 streams

IED – 1 department

Are the stationery materials provided at school?

YES, all the basic stationery materials are provided at school.

Is break and lunch provided at school?

Yes, without any extra charges.

What is the purpose of the Caution fee in the Reception & IED class?

Caution fee caters for any lost books and/or breakages of school items and equipment during the child’s tenure at the Academy. The fee is carried forward to the Primary and is refundable when the child leaves our Academy at whatever point.

Is there school transport?

We do have known and reliable private transporters

Due to the age group, most of the parents drop their children.

Is the fee payable in instalments?

We strongly advise the parents to pay fees in full to avoid inconveniences

Is there any sibling discount?

Unfortunately, we currently do not have sibling discounts.

What are the office timings?

From 7:30 am – 4:30 pm for Admin Office.

From 7:30 am – 3:30 pm for Learners.

Do you have a holiday program?

Yes. From mid-April through August, we offer holiday programs for children ages 3 years to 7 years. Programs are managed by our experienced and creative teachers and fully utilize the school’s beautiful surroundings and Outdoor Classroom
