“Good behaviour is not taught in a day, it is nurtured from the earliest days.”
We are pleased to announce our dedicated Preschool Behaviour Day is on Wednesday, 5th November, to be held during regular school hours. This essential event is designed to proactively address and cultivate positive social-emotional competencies in our young learners. The program will utilize developmentally appropriate instructional strategies to promote self-regulation, empathy, and constructive peer interaction, thereby establishing a foundation for a cooperative and productive classroom environment.
The day’s program is structured around reinforcing core behavioural principles through engaging, hands-on learning activities. These planned activities include a Social Stories session focused on identifying and appropriately managing strong emotions, structured Cooperative Play sessions to reinforce the concepts of sharing and turn-taking, and Manner Role-Playing exercises to ensure the practical application of polite communication. The emphasis will be placed on positive reinforcement and clear behavioural modeling by teachers, moving beyond simple compliance to genuine social understanding.

We encourage parental engagement by discussing the principles of kindness, respect, and active listening at home in the lead-up to this event. This coordinated approach between school and home is instrumental in the successful development of robust social skills. Behaviour Day serves as a vital component of our school’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals who possess both academic aptitude and strong interpersonal capability
