Navratri is a nine-night celebration followed by Dussehra. In most parts of India and worldwide, people adorn themselves in vibrant attire for all nine nights and engage in the lively Garba dance. On October 19, 2023, OAN Nursery will hold its Navratri celebration from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, featuring Garba and Dandiya-Raas. Garba involves a graceful style of dance, along with Dandiya where pairs of boys and girls dance holding decorated bamboo sticks. This event is open for our students and their families. The dance rhythm is intricate, with each dancer taking turns in a circle, striking each other’s dandiyas as the pace changes. The event will include dancing, prayers, and colorful traditional outfits. 

Parents are encouraged to join in.
