Oshwal Academy Nairobi Nursery believes that having fun increases motivation and encourages children to thrive in both school and everyday life. On the 10th and 11th of February 2022, our dynamic school adapted all advantageous aspects for the learners by organizing a day camp. Yes, you are right a camp- Where strangers become friends and their friendships last forever.
This camp was meant for our Preschool and Kindergarten children to teach them independence and let them have fun while learning beyond classrooms. Our parents dropped the children to school early in the morning. Both the streams enjoyed their own day of activities, by spending good time at the campsite, listening to stories, watching acrobatic display, playing interesting team games, enjoying jumping at the bouncing castle and enjoying the train trips. The bubble bath and swimming at the pool added joy in this weather. Our teachers read stories for kids and made them relax in tents, engaged in a range of activities that were not related to technology. All were completely engrossed in physical activities that led to a skill development platform.
Our campers were served delicious breaktime snacks, heavy lunch and evening snacks. The program was created to foster friendship and pleasure while also allowing students to practice skills such as working with others, waiting for their turn, dealing with accomplishments, and appreciation in a safe and loving environment. The event was a huge success, and our kids had a blast. We had memories that will last a lifetime.
