Folk dance is a powerful impulse that entails the body moving rhythmically in a set space, usually to music, to convey an idea or feeling and release energy. It depicts a well-liked dance regarded as a component of the customs of a specific group of people, region, or nation. On 11th February 2026, during school hours, OSHWAL ACADEMY NAIROBI NURSERY will organize a Solo Folk Dance Competition for Reception learners in an effort to provide young, gifted dancers with the opportunity to further their interest in cultural and folk-dance forms. With the help of props and the folk costumes, the students will be able to perform their presentation.
The main goal is to preserve people’s traditional culture by passing down and instructing the dances to future generations. Enroll right away, and contact us for further information.
