Awarding Nursery learners in Reading and the Library section serves several important purposes like encouraging a love for reading, boosting confidence and self-esteem, fostering a sense of achievement, promoting healthy competition, cultivating responsibility and respect for books, enhancing language and cognitive skills, stimulating imagination and creativity, developing a sense of community and belonging, encouraging library exploration, instilling lifelong learning habits and so on.  

Oshwal Academy Nairobi Nursery will be introducing excellent reading and library category awards to develop the love for reading and exploration. Starting from Term 1, 2023-2024 deserving Kindergarten and Reception learners will be awarded in end of every term to appreciate their efforts. All the learners are observed continuously based on the reading parameters and will be listed for these awards.
