Get, set, read!
Let’s start a daily habit of reading, talking with our children and develop a reading culture at a very young age. Let us efficiently stay active in their education. Reading entails much more than merely decoding words. It is an acquired talent that necessitates a holistic approach to assure that children will eventually be able to read with fluency, competence, and comprehension. At OAN- Nursery, our Teachers, Parents, and the Community as a whole work together to educate our students. As a result, on Tuesday, 9th May 2023 Oshwal Academy Nairobi Nursery will host a Reading Workshop vis MS Teams for our Preschool parents. It will be an interactive and educational experience. The school is working to ensure that the students have a positive learning experience. The school staff works extremely hard to create a safe atmosphere with strong academic standards, and one of the most important things we do is provide parents with essential knowledge at all times.
The main agenda of the workshop is:
- Educate parents about different strategies of reading
- Importance of book care
- Parental support and encouragement in reading
- Daily routine
- Equip parents with reading skills.
